In Majorca's lively capital city, holidays in Palma are as diverse as they are fun. A maze of narrow alleys and secret squares radiate from the cathedral and hold a trove of delights. At the other end of the bay from the old town you'll spy an impressive round castle atop a hill of green. The 14th century castle of Bellver, once a private residence for summering royals, is now home to a museum and often hosts concerts – from rock to opera.
