7. Minimum numbers. In the vast majority of
cases minimum numbers is not applicable
since most holidays are booked on an
individual client basis and since all flights are
scheduled there is no requirement for
minimum numbers. Were special packages are
organised and require minimum numbers we
ensure this has been reached 4 weeks prior to
the departure. If this has not been reached we
reserve the right to cancel your holiday, or to
offer an alternative perhaps at a different time
or refund all money paid.

8. Correspondence. If bookings are made
through travel agents all communications
should be directed via your travel agent. For
direct bookings which are the vast majority all
correspondence will be through Ski Arrangements.
Please quote the lead name on the booking and
your invoice number in any
communication.

9. Health Matters. The department of
health publishes leaflets containing advice to
travellers on health and these are available free
from your doctor, travel agents or by
telephoning free phone 0800 555777.
Passengers suffering from any known or
suspected medical condition or women more
than 28 weeks pregnant must notify us at least
30 days before departure. They must also
produce a medical certificate confirming
fitness to travel. We reserve the right to refuse
or cancel bookings if relevant certificates are
not produced and we will not be liable for any
operator’s refusal to carry any person who has
not notified us of their condition.

10. Special requests. Please tell us about any
special requests such as dietary requirements
or extra assistance that are not covered in this
brochure. We will always do our best to meet
such requests but cannot guarantee to do so
and cannot make them part of our contract
agreement.

11. Your accommodation. Single,
twin and double rooms are available in most
hotels. Ordinary single rooms are sometimes
small and poorly located and it is often better
to pay for single occupancy of a standard
double room and we will provide you with this
choice. Most hotels provide triple rooms
although this often involves adding an extra
bed. Some hotels offer family rooms which
sleep 4 people and in some cases there are
more spacious suites. Some touring
guesthouses and hotels offer cabin or chalets
which are more spacious and particularly
suitable for families. Our reservations staff will
advise you of family friendly guesthouses and
hotels. The majority of hotels we offer have an
en suite facility which usually means a shower.
Some green guesthouses may only have shared
bathroom facilities although this is usually
made clear in the description.

12. Meals provided. All guesthouses and
hotels are on a bed and breakfast basis. This is
usually a continental style buffet breakfast.
Not all hotels provide evening meals as the
norm so if you require this please check in
advance.

13. Your documents. We will usually send out
all the necessary documents in good time prior
to your holiday. These documents include
flight confirmation details (E tickets)
accommodation vouchers and car rental
vouchers. We also provide individual hotel
details. Always check and double check
the details on this printed material in case
of changes to the original flight schedule.

14. Safety Standards. Safety Standards and
regulations are not necessarily the same as
equivalent standards in the UK. The monitoring
enforcement and compliance with local
regulators is carried out by the appropriate
authorities in the country. Ski Arrangements
advise you to take all reasonable precautions
whilst on holiday.

15. Driving and car rental details. Laws,
licensing requirements and age limits vary
throughout the world. Check with travel
agents or relevant embassies before departure.
The rental vehicles provided are
subject to the terms and conditions of the
individual car rental company used. The car
rental prices usually include all the necessary
insurance Inc CDW and unlimited mileage.
Most car rental contracts have an excess
amount which you would be expected to pay
in the event of damage being caused to the
vehicle. This excess amount can be removed or
reduced by paying an additional modest
premium.

16. Brochure Validity & Prices. For all our
holidays we operate a flexible pricing policy
which means prices could change at any time.
For requests we provide a tailor made
quotation specific to the requested departure
dates flight times departure airport,
accommodation included and the type of car
rented. These quotes are valid for 14 days
subject to availability remaining.

17. What your holiday includes. Full details
are provided under each holiday description.
