Puigpunyant Galatzo Reserve
The small residential town, and municipal district of Puigunyent is nestled in the eastern slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountain ranges, approximately 9 miles north west of the suburbs of Palma.
La Reserva Puig De Galatzó is an amazing nature reserve, in the south west of Majorca, not too far from the old town of Andratx. Billed as 'a day in paradise', the park boasts over two and a half million square metres of vegetation and natural habitats, home many species of animals.
Set within the Sierra de Tramuntera mountain range, in the foothills of Puig de Galatzó, this is a great place for nature lovers, ramblers and hikers to explore some of Majorcas most beautiful countryside. Explore the mountains, pools and waterfalls.
There are also activities within an adventure park at the reserve - here you can try zip lines, climbing walls and other daring adventures.
The reserve is an official UNESCO World Heritage Site.
